- 08:00 AM – Pick-up directly at your ship in the Port of Colombo by your German-speaking SriLanka-Explorer tour guide and drive north towards Negombo
- 09:30 AM – Short sightseeing tour through Negombo including the fish market, St. Mary’s Church and the old fort
- 10:30 AM – Relaxing 2-hour boat tour along the historic Dutch Canal and the Negombo Lagoon
- 01:00 PM – Traditional Sri Lankan lunch by the beach including 1 soft drink
- 02:30 PM – Visit to the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara Temple

Good to Know
This excursion is easy and relaxed, mostly on flat terrain without long walking distances. Only a few gentle steps lead to the upper platform of the Kelaniya Temple.
For the temple visit, shoulders and knees should be covered. Shoes and hats must be removed before entering the temple grounds.
Please remember to bring sun protection, mosquito repellent, any personal medication and a hat or cap.
